Hi all,

I've got a brand new, never used, ck69 with a c480b preamp, that I'd like to sell. The ck69 retails for 999 on B&H and the c40b retails for 799. I am however not looking to get that much for them.

This is a great mic setup, I have another and use it for many applications. The ck69 is actually a two piece capsule, so it's a short and long shotgun in one, and the c480b allows you to use other capules for different uses. It's a great system, look up reviews and you wont be dissappointed. I'm only selling this package because I got it as payment for a gig and I already have one.

Anyway, make me an offer. I'm also willing to trade for other equipment.

I just wanted to add an endorsement for this mic. I have this system and I've been really happy with it... I used this in conjunction with a 416 and I'd say it's sound quality is on par with that mic (some days I preferred the 416, some days the 69) and the benefit of this mic over the 416 (and many other shotguns) is that it has selectable low cut at flat, 70, and 150... and it also has selectable gain of -10db, flat, and +6db. This is one of the few shotguns which can sound really warm in situations that most other guns sound cold in... but then if bass is too strong you can just dial it back out.

The other nice thing about it is that you can always turn this mic into a cardioid, hyper-cardioid, or omni with the optional capsules... which you can get at a great price... so it's like getting a whole new mic for just the price of a capsule. (I've got the hyper, cardioid, and 90 degree for mine)

The sound guy for Hercules (the series... the one with Sarbo) used this gun exclusively for years... and still uses it for location booming.

So if your price is good this should sell. I have an idea of what you should ask, but that part's your business. Hopefully you and your buyer will be mutually satisfied...

Well I can officially say... that is a GREAT deal... I was hoping you'd set a price that would be really good for the members... and that's it.
