Yes, we've brought it up, and there is an official press release in the NAB section in the "panasonic press releases" section.

My fault. I searched for this piece and I didn't get a result because of the G behind the 2 .
I hope in the next days someone can/will tell how fast it works with a macbook. For my needs the transfer time must be under 25 minutes for a 32 gig card. I think that will work.
