AJ-HVF21G VF on hpx500?

Wanted to ask a quick question.

I know that hpx500 outputs only SD signal to VF, but can i connect this VF
to HPX500 and get SD image or it just won't show anything? I'm planing
to upgrade stock VF and this would work on hpx500, then i could later
swith it to hpx3000 in the future.

Hey Jan,
Could the AJ-HVF21G VF get power from the camera viewfinder spigot while getting color video out from the the sdi or test out which has most of the viewfinder info? Definitely a custom cable
 
Now that would be a very expensive cable, as the interconnect for the VF connector has to plug in, so then there has to be a breakout after the plugin so that means a custom enclosure of a sort. Why not just try the VF20 or VF15? You might find these more suited to what you need.
