Airplane to shoot in

Anyone know of an airplane set to shoot in in the NYC area - we actually just need a shot in the airplane lavatory. I already contacted aeromockups but they were very expensive even for the one shot.

maybe it'd be cheaper to build your own, depending on the shot, maybe you could get away with it. It's not like you have to have working plumbing or electricity inside it.
 
Any chance you can fake a trailer/caravan toilet for an airplane one; might be easier to find; otherwise take a $80 trip to Florida! ;-)
 
Yeah, I like Vidled's idea. I've seen a couple motorhome bathrooms that could pass for a plane lavatory.

No sense in finding a whole airplane when all you need is the inside of the bathroom :)
 
The camper bathroom idea is a good one. If that doesn't work, perhaps a boat might. :)

Sounds like finding a place will be crap shoot though.

bluescreen, if you know anyone good enough at chroma keying. You need something you can move around in IMO, in movies they have sets with removable walls.
 
Perhaps a bathroom on a business jet would work. Contact jet charter companies. You might find one that's down for maintenance.
