now I know white background colour can be made brighter in post as long as its lit correct but how do they get the airbrush look on the talent? Is it makeup lighting or a plugin that can be added to final cut that can achieve this or is it a special camera, would i be able to get a similar look on my xh-a1 and arri lights f i do properly?

Sorry if this is a complete noob question but would love to know

cheers

Easy way to get some of it: duplicate a layer of the entire video, blur that layer, change blending mode to 'soft light' or 'overlay'. Reduce opacity a lot. Desaturating the top layer can also have a good effect. I use this for wedding photos sometimes. Rendering times will go up quite a bit with that method.
