Just saw this new about the new AG-HPX171E
Anyone know when its going to import to Singapore ?
Does the five year warrenty work internationally ?

[Jan_Crittenden]

The 5 year warranty is only in the country of origin. So let's say you bought it from Germany to use it in Singapore, your warranty is in Germany and you would find that out the minute that you registered the camera for the extended warranty. The system emails you the location of the warrenty station.

There 170 series should all deliver on a world wide basis around the same time.

Best,

Jan

Is Panasonic absent at the IBC2008? As I recall when the HVX200 came out they where present at the IBC but for the last time.

[Barry_Green]

Last I knew, they had decided to quit going to IBC, same as Apple and Avid quit NAB this year.

[Cees Mutsaers]

Barry do you think the HPX170 wil already be present at the IBC or is the IBC just a little to soon?

[Barry_Green]

I don't know, all I know is they keep saying "September." Could be any time in September.
