I am a current DVX100A owner. It's certainly time (past time) for me to get into the HD workflow. I really like the HMC150 as it seems like an HD version of the DVX. I have a chance to buy a HMC-155 with low hours (150) at a good price. I am leery because of the gray market issue. The camera is past its warranty so that part of the equation is moot. This particular camera is version 1.16, so it doesn't have the latest firmware update. I'm not sure that I could update a 155 with the latest firmware. I have always valued this forum tremendously and am looking for some feedback on whether or not it would be a good idea. The owner is a professional videographer and has been the single owner of the camera; he claims it is in pristine condition.

Personally.... I'd look for an HMC150 if you're in the US.... but that's just me. It's the same camera, etc.

Are you still looking to purchase an HMC150? I'm potentially selling mine. It's in great shape, only 150~ hours of operation, latest firmware, all the stock accessories, and 3 large batteries.
