Hey all...

is this camera good? i know it has no LCD, and no IEEE but it sounds like it does good pics... 3 CCD as well.. anyone had any experience with it?

This is a good camcorder , the only thing is bad is the out puts of composit video
connector is special , can't switch battery .

It's an old camera, the first generation Panasonic DV camera. Its chips form the basis for the XL1. Image quality was about on par for the XL1. So not competitive against today's crop of XL2/DVX/PD170, but it was a decent little performer in its day. No 24p, no manual audio control, no firewire, no LCD.

i would primarily use it as a back up or stationary cam for my DVX... thanks for the feedback guys!
