Hi all, did anybody bought the new AG-DVX102B. I must agree that this is the best camera that i have seem. Comparing to sony pd 150/170, or even z1. This camera is outstanding in sense of color and feel. any comments ?

Vocare...where are you from? Just asking because in modern times there is only a DVX100B. The 102s won't be out for an eternity ;)
 
just bought the dvx102ben. I think i might be one of the first few user in Singapore to get hold of the Camera. No offence. Just try the Z1. Maybe its just a trial version for HDV. coz it cant shoot under lowlight and its too heavy to bring along for my usage.
 
By the way, its a pal version. Its my new toy for less than a week. But so far, i am very impress about it.

Just bought the new camera. I am very impress about it. I think i am one of the first few user in Singapore to get this baby. Why not HD or HDV. Maybe its going to take a while before people can see HDV disc in their dvd player. Hence, I prefer to stick to SD first.
 
Sounds like it was a good buy for you. Mine's on order and after the Easter break, I'm hoping I'll get the call that it's arrived.

The 102 is the model designation for certain PAL territories. It's functionally identical to the 100, they just changed the model number for tracking gray-market purchases.

right, it's the same thing of the 100B but without CE certification: it is destinated to market as Asia and Sud-Pacific area
 
Just did some testing today . will be hosting it on the web. to show you the quality of the work.
This camera is just beyond the average expectation. But it take a while for you to go through the menu.
