Pettersen Well-known member Dec 19, 2005 #2 The DVX100AE has squeeze, yes. However, the image is streched so it will not be full widescreen resolution. Tell me if I'm wrong. I have the AE myself, and I can confirm that it has squeeze.

D DVX100Shooter Veteran Dec 19, 2005 #4 With squeeze mode and 16:9 native does this mean you still need to use the anamorphic lens or can you get by without it (on the newer DVX cameras that is)?
