AG-DVX100A accessories

hey everyone.
i am about to purchase an ag-dvx100a for surf filming. i therefore require a long lasting battery as i am often away and unable to charge my battery for a whole day or 2. i have seen the battery CGR-D54...is that the longest lasting battery?

i also require a telephoto lens to allow me to get closer to the action when filming from the beach. about a 2x magnification is appropriate. i have been looking around and have found one or two. can anyone tell me of the ones they know of.

any help is much appreciated.

If you buy your new DVX100A from an authorized reseller, you'll get several free bonuses, and one of those bonuses is a CGR-D54 battery. So between that, and the DVXUser battery, you should be pretty good to shoot for all day. We're working on a feature now, and frequently have 15+ hour days, and we're using two DVXUser 5000mah batteries, and that's all we need. We shoot until we drain one dry, and start shooting with the other -- and put the empty one on the charger, and by the time the second battery's dry, the first one is charged again. Several days we've gone through the full day and only swapped batteries once.
