Aftermarket battery usage

Has anyone used aftermarket (non Panasonic brand) batteries in their camera? Somebody had mentioned them, but I honestly don't know. I have two Panasonic batteries, but I was curious. Thanks...

I have five OEM Panasonic batteries that fit the DVX200, plus three aftermarket batteries I use regularly.

I've had excellent results with the Swit S-8D58 batteries, which fit my DVX200, PX270 and UX180 cameras. They are less expensive than the Panasonics but include both a coaxial power socket and USB output, which are useful for powering wireless microphone receivers, external monitors and such. The quality and lifespan seem equivalent to the OEM Panasonic batteries in every respect. They have some higher capacity variants now (as does Panasonic) that I haven't tried yet, but wouldn't hesitate to buy if needed.

I also have an iKan IBP-D88 high capacity battery which has worked well, although the build quality is not quite as nice as the Panasonics and Swits. However, it won't fit inside the DVX200, although it works fine with my other two cameras (which have no door over the battery compartment to constrain the length of the battery).

The latest Panasonic batteries do have a faster charge mode when used with the AG-BRD50 charger, which is not an available feature when using the aftermarket batteries. I'm seldom in a situation where I can't charge my batteries for several hours overnight between uses, so this is of only minor concern to me.

IDX aftermarket battery

I bought an IDX high capacity battery - https://cvp.com/product/idx_sl-vbd96?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvpKU8sDY3AIVKb7tCh0u7ADqEAQYASABEgLoI_D_BwE and to be honest I have never needed more than that and the Panasonic battery on a long days shoot. Mostly I just charge the IDX up and keep the Panasonic original as an emergency spare.
