After Effects Window Explosion

[Burlesque]

Tried hard to make everything look as real as possible.

After Effects used for Explosion, Tracking, Masking.

Premiere Pro for sound effects and flash.

Photoshop used for extra blow-out effect.

Took me a total of 6 hours to complete.

Very nice. You'll fool a lot of people with that

Looks very nice! Good job.

[Andrew Brinkhaus]

Nice. The only thing that felt a little weak was the sound effects used, VFX were good!

Looked awesome dude. Loved the handheld and the explosion was totally buyable. Tweak the sound though. It doesn't feel like it's coming from the world the explosion is.

Great job!!!

I've got several replys about the sound fx.

Going to try tweaking it til next time.

Thanks for the comments

That was great and the sound really sold it !

I'd shorten the time we see actual flame personally; but first rate !

You didn't really drop your dvx on the ground, right? What did you do to achieve that effect? It looks pretty sweet!

I dont have a DVX camera I'm only 17 years old and can't really afford it yet. I've got a Panasonic NV-GS75, pretty cheap camera (600$ maybe). But I try to invest in my knowledge as much as possible and use what i have.

I'm pretty good at stunting so to get that effect, all i did was to throw my self to the ground, so that i had control over the camera, i rather hurt myself than the cameras get damaged. It did hurt a bit but as he said in Transformers: "No sacrifice, no victory".
