Where can I find the needed codec support for AE? When I try to import raw .AVI's from the camera, After Effects 7 just tells me "After Effects error: no such AVI compressor. (-2147205007)
After Effects error with D90

Louis, I was able to fix the problem by installing this codec, thanks to Car3o.

Many thanks Andrew.
I think I know what you mean
I need m-jpeg codec to import Nikon d90 videos, then I will be exporting them to using h.264.
Would the quality be worst if I use free codec such as:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Motion_JPEG_Codec.htm
for the import?
Is the comercial one better? if so then in what way?
