Hello people :)
I just finished my intro for AFTER DEATH. A little comedy i'm making.
It's about a guy who's dead. And (yeah he's a zombie) he wakes up and walks.

(There might be some wrong spelling or **** in the intro, cause the movie is originally Norwegain. I just changed the text for you guys to read it!)

WMV

Give me some response people!

PS. The intro will only be on the internet temporary.

Looks OK. If your looking for critiques, here's mine.

I don't like the color to it... It's all just washed out grey. I'd recommend bringing your black level down, and creating more contrast so it's more visually interesting. Also, it's a bit long. Especially the fade to black at :56 seconds.

Love the music, though. What'd you use to score it?

Well the titles seemed ok. Im not sure if English is your first language?

People in Europe, American, Asia and oceania have .......

Not Their all dead. They're all dead.

Anyway seemed ok for an opener... keep going. The above stills look pretty flat. Needs some cc work.

I've only used the b/w efffect in Sony Vegas... But I agree.
I got the music made by a composer, I have no idea what he used.
Pertaining the length, I adjusted it to the length of the music.

I'll be damned! Yeah, I'm from Norway and i am 15 years old. But i hasted quite a bit when i translated the text. This is embarrassing.

By the way, was the font unreadable? Should I change it?

Thanks for the advise, folks!:dankk2: Appreciate it!

I liked this intro a lot. I would definitely fix the actual contents of the text, but I didn't mind the font. I would actually use only one of those big letters that starts the sentences per paragraph/screen - only for the very first sentence. It will make it more legible and add punch to the overall look. I liked the black and white look a lot and the music went a long way to set the scene. So far nice work.

On the above stills, just my 2 cents, but the one that was color corrected looks too green to me...I actually prefer the first one, but it probably all comes down to context in the end.

Good luck. Thanks for sharing this.

The music is def good. The text looked kind of cheesy at times, but the shots were good, you have a good eye. If you want to send a small snippet of footage we can try to liven it up for you in terms of coloring....

Keep it up!

Yes Chief, I totally agree with you, Ivar keep your original color, don't CC it into something like that mess. It's a zombie flick, you kinda want the colors to be drab (excellent example: Shaun of the Dead). That's what I think too, and I've seen a sh@ load of zombie movies (most of which were terrible, but still worth the watch).

good promising! I just ask for a better framing of titles. No matter the font, but sometimes you should avoid titles (especially in a BW footage) to go black on a black part of the frame. Also I would make the titles a bit darker to come up form the gray of sky.

Greetings to beloved Norway.
