After an actors success...

but then again......you sound like ZEN converting to mindless chatter provoked by 50 milligrams of acid you injested

Wow, for some reason I only just came across this gem of a thread. I'll throw my name into the pot of confusion.

Hey dude I said I was focusing on one type of character or picking those traits from people. I also said I wasn't limiting people to that behavior. I also said that I'm sure it's not all New Yorkers and that I am sure that it occurs in other places. I also said that it is probably because they do not have rational understanding so it is most likely a part of development. And yes I do tend to see this mostly among teenagers and young adults.

I am from New York.

Yeah, okay - but you ALSO said:

I'm aligning new yorkers to bad acting.

New Yorkers are like a cast that has no story. They are all pretenders
Their world is a set-up. That is what a new yorker is.

Can't have it both ways.

And if your point is just the 'some' New Yorkers seem to act 'fake'?
Well... okay.
People act fake in every city in the world.

I suppose I'm going to have to join Issac in the 'pot of confusion'
Move over Issac...and make sure to stay on your side.

Blaine, you know when people it becomes "cool" to be a director, everyone starts to think they can do it and begin to hype things up, flatter themselves, etc. They all want to play the game for some attention; to align themselves to something great. But only very few have the heart to do it and those few are discouraged because of this fakeness. Well, that feeling is what I am talking about.

Are you saying that most people are artificial? Because I can certainly get onboard that. I don't see New Yorkers as fake, but they are defensive.

Okay, this thread can get political real fast. I am from New York and lived in LA for 8 years. I came back to New York to finish school. I can tell you, I have strong opinions on both parts of the country.

But why can't we all just sit in a circle, hold hands, and sing Kumbaya?
PS Luis, how do you do that multi-quote thing? I can only seem to do 1 single quote at a time?

Just bracke whatever you want to put in quotes with:

[ quote=rlm7189 ] (message to be quoted) [ /quote ]

(but without the spaces)
It should look like this:

sounds like the fusionist is writing some paper for his masters degree on how ridiculous one person thinks a group of people are.
