I just ordered an EX1r. I intend to use it with efilm adapters and SDHC cards.
My concern is this: to get the camera to work with some/all (I don't know) cards I understand that I need the latest firmware update. To update the firmware I understand that I need to load it on a card. This can create a catch 22, or worse, to brick the camera.
Appreciate the advice of people who already own the camera about how to proceed. I don't want to buy an SxS card to merely do the firmware upgrade.
