Affordable sticks for the F35?

Just wondering since the f35 weighs so much what is the most affordable tripod options out there in the market?

I used an O'connor 50 head with mine, the head is more an issue than the tripod as cheap tripod can be found that can hold the weight but inexpensive quality heads that can take the weight is a different story. I used mine via a 100m adapter on 4 foot and baby legs. Since I am going to be selling my F35 I won't be needing them anymore so PM if you are interested in them.

It's not that heavy, unless you have the SRW1 and other extras on it. I'd always say look out for used kit from Sachtler, Ronford and Oskar Heiler. Or if you don't mind old school look for old wooden legs in 100mm or 150mm bowl. Another alternative is old Gitzo legs - the 4 and 5 series can take a 100mm bowl adapter.

That is true, one thing I forgot to mention is that mine was used with the codex which made the camera about 15 kilos without a lens.

Don't skimp on your tripod set-up. You will regret it later. A good head and good set of legs will last a long time and make your life and camera movements so much better. I love Sachtler SpeedLock legs, but you need to sit back and look at what type of set-ups you will mostly be doing. I routinely have well over 30-35 lbs on my Vinten 100 and Speedlocks. I believe my two smaller sets of legs are rated to around 80 lbs and my HD set is 200 lbs.
