AF101 slomo footage in FCPX

Mac book pro with retina display, 16 GB, 1TB SSD HD.
I usually import the footage from the sd card, coping it into the external disk (thunderbold).
When I see the slomo footage (filmed at 50 fps) in the viewer, using the arrow keys or the mouse, it's shown ruined "pixelized".
This happens both from the library and from the time line.
This never happened with fcp7 using the same camera.
Anyone experienced the same problem?
Thanx

Try turning the viewer settings to highest quality instead of better performance. Also make sure that using proxy media is turned off. Lastly, try viewing your footage at 100% scale, sometimes strange things happen with odd scale values. It might also be an interlacing issue you can fix in the info tab of the clips.

I've tried all the things you suggested, but nothing has changed :(
Instead the GH4 slomo footage is good, and that problem doesn't exist.
Thank you.

Check the Inspector "Info", "Settings" box, upper right corner in FCPX (you may need to turn it on in the Window drop down) . Sometimes things are wrong in there, especially with Canon C100 not being imported as progressive. I've never had the problem with AF footage though (I just edited a slo-mo sequence two months ago on my Retina and it was fine).

Maybe, try creating a new project and place the slo-mo footage into it as the first clip - as a test.

Referring to one of the slomo clip I have in the timeline, the info tab says:
Frame size : 1920 x 1080
Video frame rate : 25
Codecs : H.264, Linear PCM
Video Field Dominance : Progressive
Pulldown : none
Shooting rate : 25
Color profile : HD 1-1-1

Then made a new project putting a slomo clip in the timeline... but the same problems came out.
Thank you.
