Af101 chroma key trial

Hello again

I recently tried out an idea for an opener for an internal corporate film I had to put together, using a chroma key screen and the lovely AF101. I was pretty pleased with the results. You just never quite have the time you need on the shoot but I think the set up and results worked out pretty good. The clip here is graded a touch too heavy but looks good enough. Also included are a few pics from the set up too with a couple of frame grabs from the resulting footage taken straight from the timeline. Sparky.

You are too close to the green screen for some of those shots, you've got green spill on the side of the dress and on some of the skin. (reflecting off your greenscreen on to the subject).

Also, with the hair, the key is not pulling all the green out.

There is a REALLY good tutorial on one of the threads here that shows how to pull keys with multiple layers. Once I started doing that, and really tuning the keys, you can get some AMAZING results.

Now, all the rest of it, I liked :)

Hey Sparky

A touch more back / rim light will give you a cleaner edge to key.

Maybe you can feather the key that you already have. Its really hard edged.

I missed it- where did the video go, Sparky?

Rick, I remember that great AE layers tutorial- any idea who did it?
