Which camera is better the AF100 or hpx250? The AG-HPX250 P2 HD has a lot of nice features.
IMO 2 cons: 1/3 sensor and P2 media(too expensive in a time that ssd is widely available.

Apples and oranges. Plus, your question is flawed. "Better" and "Worse" are inherently subjective terms that have to be based on a set of criteria. You state no set of criteria with which to determine which is better or worse for your needs.

I have an HMC150 and just picked up an AF100 a little more than a week ago now. I love both of them, but for very different reasons, and I don't see how one will really replace the other, as I can do things with one I simply can't with the other (or at least, it's very difficult to pull off).

It depends on what you need.

If you need a servo zoom, 10 bit internal recording, and the reliability of p2, then the 250 is for you.

If you want an easier ability to achieve shallow dof, and the ability to use virtually every still and cinema lens out there, then the af100 is the camera for you.

There is no "best".

Better or worse is subjective just like Mike said, for example P2 was a negative for you where as P2 is a positive for me.

As mentioned above it depends on what you need. I have the AF100 for narrative work but find myself needing my HPX170 quite a bit for different jobs (run and gun, etc) and some basic things -- too bad I sold it though.
