AF100 shot segment on the Today Show

Thanks for the information. That is the slider I've decided to purchase. I have a 503 head waiting for it. I hope by adjusting the drag, I won't have any issues with sliding and panning simultaneously. I think I'm going to get the hi hat that Kessler sells so that I can go from tripod to slider and vice-versa quickly and easily. At any rate, thanks for your reply and for answering the touchy question of pay. I understand why people hesitate to talk about it because it's so nuanced and variable with the client, situation, area, etc. Keep up the good work.

No problem. I may get the high hat too so I can use my Sachtler head on it as it's much more variable.

I think there should be a whole thread discussion about pay, because even after doing this for over 10 years, I still think it's useful to gain some knowledge from what others are doing in that respect.

Finally got some "me time" with our DVR and watched this piece. Really really well done! A very moving
piece and you captured the love and emotion these kids had for their mom's perfectly. They're all
good looking kids . but you lit them really well and the shots are well composed.

The editing gets the story down in the limited slot allotted.

Congrats on a job well done.
