Not sure if you guys have heard of the movie FAVOR, but it's #50 on iTunes under movies last time I checked today. It released on the 22nd. Reviews and buzz have been very good!

Kickstarted on KS originally...hopefully I'll be seeing it soon here if I can find the time! This is the 2nd AF100 feature this year that I've seen do well on iTunes from Gravitas Ventures, the first being Zak Forsman's Down & Dangerous.

Thanks for the heads up. That trailer looks fantastic. More great features shot on AF100. Yeah!

Yep! Who says the AF100 can't film a success? Pssh... ;) And yes the trailer is WAY better than half the junk I see out there, especially indie stuff.

I just bought it via Amazon Instant Video. looking forward to watching it on the Xbox later! Thanks for sharing Kyle.

Hey, thanks, guys!!! That's my movie!!

Yep, shot it on the AF100, with fairly heavy work on the image in post. We wanted a 16mm-ish look so we desaturated the colors, added a pretty thick layer of film grain using Cinegrain. Almost everything, including night exterior stuff, was shot at an ISO of 100 and a f2 or f1.2 (depending on the lens). So the AF100 did pretty well in low-light.

FAVOR's been doing really well on VOD. On iTunes we were in the top 10 indies last week (holding now at 15), have been in the top ten thrillers since we premiered (#9 this morning) and, even though we're not exactly a horror flick, have been sitting at #1 on the horror charts for 7 days.

AF100 represent!!

Wow!

It's really great that you...Paul & Bob are showing the 'Industry' that understanding the working technology(it's potential and operating range of 'best returns') has a lot more to do with great imagery than Brand names etc.

Bob, that production company, Tressimo, really looks like they got a lot going on....good connection!

Cheers,

Tye

Thanks. Also, I think you meant Fortissimo Films (http://www.fortissimo.nl)

Wow Paul, that's great news. Always glad to see indie productions find success. Did you strike a VOD deal with a distributor, or are you folks just working like crazy to distribute through all these channels yourselves?
