AF100 review with sample footage...

My guess is you will come to prefer the AF102.

oh...and a fully rigged AF102 in production mode actually looks pretty cool.

Would agree...the AF102 body by it self aint much to look at!

I think I will as well. Just need to get some good settings dialed in. What you got on your cam Craig?
 
If you are asking about settings...I have just finished doing my tests ( all at Default - and some are posted up in the Footage sub section of this forum)

I have taken note of the LoNoiz settings that others have posted. I will be trying them at some time.

I wil be having a play with the matrixes also at some time. ( once I know what they actually are!)

I make settings, dependent on what I am shooting and seeing at the moment. Dont believ there is a "do-all" setting but believe in knowing the bases.

If you are asking about "pimping" an AF102 into production mode.... I have s/s Rods and Base plate , follow focus, matte box, Nikkor primes, MF PL adapter (on order). Removed the hand strap.... and had the camera body chrome plated.




(Lying about the chrome!)
