Hi all,
Still thinking about this as an upgrade. I live in New Zealand and down here in PAL land the version is af102. However, I can buy an af 100 with standard 14-140 lens , a 64 gb sdxc card, a panasonic adaptor for my 5 Olympus lenses and an extra 2 battery kit and dual charger and a petrol bag for a little over the cost of the body here. Does anyone know the difference between the 100 and the 102? Is being PAL here an issue? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

The camera is selecteable dual standard so no issue with that. The numbers id the region.

You may have warranty issues though ...unless you want to return the camera to point of purchase.

Hi Shooter,
thanks for that, as you say the specs appear to be the same and the different ID puzzled me-usually it is a alpha suffix to identify regions and I wondered whether the 102 was an upgrade of some sort.
I take the point on warranty though- I had a very odd experience with wanting info on one of my Sonys that I imported from England. .It was only a query on the PMB software but Sony helpline refused to help and said I had to contact England. ( which I did), even though the software was the same as sold down here. It seems they can be quite territorial! Hey by the way, I love your music vid on your site, nice work!
I guess my next job is to check this out with Panasonic. So grateful for your input. Cheers
Rod
