AF100 on Slider

Hi all - have people used their AF100s on sliders much?

Anyone got advice for the best type of tripod head to use to mount it on a slider? A small ball head seems like a good idea to keep weight down, and allow tilting in any direction, but the quick release plates that come on the ones I've looked at seem so tiny (designed for SLRs) I wonder about how securely an AF100 would attach to one.

Any thoughts?

I use mine with syrp magic slider. I use a 504HD manfrotto head.

I have a cinevate atlas 10 and use a benro s6 head. Works really well.
