AF100 + ninja star

Wow. That's very lame. No one with anything useful to say about it? I was hoping someone might have an opinion, some experience? Sheesh.

its a camera getting far less use and attention than more current cameras, hence it's not a hot topic hence no one has something to say about it. and feature wise it would be the same as all the threads back in the day of internal vs hyperdeck/ninja and how it looks very close until you start with the high motion.

You got a perfect response to a very lame and lazy post.

"Talk to me people" ...sheesh... What did you expect?

Wow another great contribution. I guess you also have nothing of value to add. Thanks for chiming in though, your very insightful post certainly gives everyone so much to ponder.

It's a very small and relatively inexpensive PR422 recorder, but is HDMI-only and the AF100 doesn't send s/s flags over HDMI, and uses a somewhat hard to find memory card type. Haven't used one, but I did have a Ninja2 for a while and didn't care for the inability to trigger the recorder through the camera. This can be solved with Atomos' H2S Connect, but adds more wire, more weight, more power needs, more cost. If you can live with the limitations and get significant benefit from its use, it's another bit of cam-bling to consider
