AF100 + Nikon

FWIW I've shot with a Canon 15mm fisheye, and it's not fishy on the AF100. Other than that, yeah, a normal 30mm FoV.
 
I tried using my 20 year old Nikkor 16 2.8 when I first got my AF and quickly found out it was no wider then my Oly 14-35. Havent used it since but I did buy a Tokina 11-16 which is obviously much wider then the 16 fisheye.
 
I'm new to the AF100 but have quite the Nikon lens arsenal. Both those lenses work fine with the AF100 but are not near as dramatic on a still camera. I am just going cut to the chase and pickup the 7-14 for ultra wides.

One lens I've foud quite good on the AF100 is the Nikon 16-35 f/4. This is fast becoming my run and gun lens of choice.

How do you control the aperture (exposure) with that particular lens on an AF100?
 
I use the Nikon 17-35 f2.8 a lot myself, great lens on the AF. The tokina 11-16 is great too when I need to go a bit wider

Wow, very helpful! Do you have any screen grabs or footage of any of those 3 lenses listed? Would sincerely appreciate it!
 
Ok Guy's the Samyang 85 1,4 arrived just today. I unpacked it and set it on the AF101 wright away for my first impression and wow , what a nice lens for such a price. quality is solid build light metal, the long run focus ring works super smooth and classy. same thing for the iris ring.
After I set the camera on I could see wright away the class from its lens focal distance is typically 85 so you can only use it as an 85 , the low light availability? dammm incredible for an 85 never seen it before? I tried the darkest places at 400 ISO and god
its could see better then my own eye, imagine on 800 ISO. Sharpness is super to me and as good as any more expensive lenses. Still I have to shoot some footage and test some more. But to what I have and see wright now. this lens is worth at least 6 times its price.
Hopefully Samyang wil pack out with some more lenses course am fan already :-)
