I'll post more on this soon with some good specific video cuts and maybe stills and so on.

Demo'd a unit for the weekend at our church in the switching environment. Only had the 14-140 lens with the demo. We tried the cam in two different camera spots over the time we had it. We tried to match it to the hpx170s which have 13x zooms, and wide open apertures at 0db gain. AF had to be at 140mm F5.6, 1600iso. All video was recorded ProRes LT via HDSDI, and then web converted to H264.

After the opening video segment, you will see live switch of the church service. Main cam (straight on) and crowd cam (crane) are hpx170. The angle cam is the AF100.

Very nice work the show/talk/preaching had some really good set and art-design. I was a little disapointed with the weapons. I was totally sure she would pull out a sword, a crossbow and a cape when she introduced it as a battle against demons.

Wow, I am jealous of your church's AV budget!
we are still using DVC80s and DVX100a

It ain't that big ;)

We currently use two 170s, the new AW-HS50 switcher, and a DVX100b on the crane. When they said they wanted multiple cameras, I insisted that we scrape together enough to run HDSDI. Seriously, the Kessler crane was below $1000, the two 170s were both under $4000 used, and the switcher is $4000.

For more info on the setup check this linky: http://www.churchmedia.net/forums/imag-image-magnification/45621-imag-setup-share-your-system.html

To everyone else, I'll be posting a few more shots and stills once the work for the week is done :D
Honestly, the AF100 worked well with our non-genlocked HDSDI setup and mixed in well with our 1/3" cams. All in all, a great cam for many uses!
