AF100 G3 receiver mounting options and service experiences

Just curious to hear from AF100 owners on what service issues (if any) they've had with their cams and who they go repairs done by (if not Panny directly)? I'm looking at buying an older unit and am gunshy about getting stuck with a repair bill that is higher than the cam is worth!

Also curious how owners are mounting their G3 receivers, especially two. Is there a custom cheeseplate this this that can on in place of the handle, and does the handle come off? Thanks to all for any advice or input.

Yes, the handle is removeable and behind is a nice little cold shoe. You can either use that with the Sennheiser cold shoe adapter, mount 2 receivers using one of the cold shoe channel/multimounts ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/752863-REG/Vello_SE_10_SE_10_Hot_Shoe_Extension.html ) or make your own plate with some Al plate and things... here's my setup in some detail:

Alternately you could rig up anything using the 1/4-20 threads on the handle, or the mic mount threads next to the audio inputs. Plenty of options.

I keep one receiver permanently attached to the shoe under the side handle. I used to have a multi-mount attached to the top handle, but found this was the simplest solution (since I never used the side handle). If I need more than that, I can attach another to the shoe on the top handle.

Thanks fellas. Have either of you needed repairs? Is Panny fair and efficient when it comes to servicing this can? Any work on what fails first?

I have bent lens contact pins and a hyper-extended EVF... the EVF isn't important to me (still works, just wobbles a bit) and the contact pins would require a full sensor replacement (eg, not worth it)
