Af100 Firmware update

Ok so that link worked for me but... I cant figure out why my camera is not reading the file from the SD card (I keep getting a Check Card message, even though I know I have copied the files onto the SD card correctly)

Is there a workaround for this? I downloaded the files using a mac

did you format the card in the camera? I seem to vaguely remember having that problem and formatting in camera did the trick.
 
Yes, the key is in how the card is formatted. It took me about 4 tries (on a pc) before I got it right and the firmware installed. If I could remember what it is I did I would tell you, other than the process was less than intuitive.
 
It wasn't so much a format problem as maintaining the exact directory structure when transferring the downloaded files to the sd card.
 
Ok so i figured it out.

(im using a mac)

What I did was RE ZIP what my mac unzipped when i downloaded. Then once I REzipped it on my mac... I opened it on my mac... it unzipped again.. and WALA

Worked that way.

Many mac users are having problems, i think i found the solution without having to go find a PC.
