I heard this is an invaluable forum, with extensive free career guidance and intelligent individuals.
I'm a British Writer-Debut-Director, MFA UCLA film school. I have a 2-day shoot and a 40-day shoot minus Sundays, and need a few good men to work under a favored nations contract.
The first 2-day shoot is a no-pay shoot for a trailer-short fundraiser. The feature is a low budget Supernatural Thriller. I'll need to meet you, see if we have good chemistry. Then if I think we can co-exist, I'll have you sign a non-disclosure document, then I'll send you both scripts, expecting a two-day response. If you're interested, I'll go into more detail. We'll sign a contract with provisions contingent upon performance. If we are to part ways, you'll be compensated for the 2-day short but I'll be under no obligation to hire you for the feature. We're aiming to start Principal Photography in July through August in Los Angeles.

Sound Operator
AF100 Owner Operator.
AF100 Steadicam Operator.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS
PRODUCER - Professional attitude. Has a minimum of 5 Feature films under his belt. A talented person who'll take charge of Pre-production, paperwork, SAG compliance, budgeting, Scheduling, prop-wardrobe breakdown, arrange for distribution before Principal photography. Production Management and Post Coordination. Need to see five links, and three references.
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Professional Attitude. Has a minimum of 5 released features under his belt. Proficient with Panasonic cameras. Owns a light kit, or has access to one at no extra charge to the production. Owns AF100 and Zeiss CP2 Lens set of 7, good zooms, voigtlander 25mm, f0.98.
CAMERA OPERATOR
Professional. AF100 Owner Operator. Has experience with panasonic cameras. Has Zeiss lens and voigtlander 25mm f.0.98
SOUND OPERATOR
Professional Attitude. A minimum of 5 features and all the accouterments of a production Sound person.
STEADICAM OPERATOR
Professional Attitude. Owns own steadicam rig with low mode, and possibly own AF100 with all follow focus bells and whistles. A minimum of three to five Features.
FINAL CUT PRO EDITOR
Professional Attitude, no temper, no ego. A minimum of five features completed. Willing to log and compile rough cut daily as we shoot so we have a complete rough cut on the day after the final day of principal photography. Adept at special effects, composite editing. DVD authoring, etc. Soundtrack Pro.
POST HOUSE
Able to create the visual and special effects beyond the capabilities of FINAL CUT PRO.
