AF100 FCP Easy set up conundrum

I've just opened up FCP for the first time after installing on my new 17" mbpro and I'm in easy setup. Unfortunately, I only have FCP 6. I've edited HPX170 footage on FCP before and finding the codec was a breeze, it's listed. But there's nothing for the AF100. I know we're supposed to ingest in ProRes 422 but what do I put in easy set up? There's nothing! Or do I just ignore that and let FCP select for me? Any responses are appreciated!
 
Right now it just freezes. Nothing happens when I try and transcode ingest. The wheel spins then it freezes. Need help.
 
Did you perform all the FCP updates for version 6? There were a few incremental updates for 6. I also only have v6 on my macbook and it ingested fine. In V6 there isn't ProPres LT, but the other ProRes is there. Also, repair permissions and reboot!

your timeline with be proress 422, then in log and transfer, you will import the avchd files as prores 422.
