Hi just a quick question. I filmed with my af100 in 1080 25 frames and edited a music video in adobe cs4. In adobe when i play it back its all in sync and perfect, yet when I export it as a h264 file or mp4 or any of the others the end result always shows a noticeable lag and as a result the sound and visaul images do not sync. I uploaded a music video on here a week or so back and noticed it too was just out of sync. It's very confusing as I have experimented with 25 pal and 24 ntsc etc etc and tried exporting it for youtube hd and yet always ends up with a desynchronization! It's very worrying as in adobe it plays back perfect and I dont want to edit it all again! Anyone got any ideas, am I missing something obvious as I am not use to exporting hd footage. (Old DVX100b user). Any advice would be much appreciated as I'm at the end of my tether! Thanks Taras

Hi thanks for the message. I will check now but the settings i just tried were h.264 youtube hd widescreen but changed it to pal at 25 frame per second 1080 hd. AAC audio codec at 48khz high stereo quality. 64 kps bitrate is selected for precedence. video is set to level 5.1 (dont know what these are about) profile high, square pixels progressive. VBR1 pass. multiplexing mp 4 and the total file is 94mbs for 2 minutes. Oh and the target is 6.00 mbps for encoding.

The result is a very slow almost jittery footage with audio a good second behind the footage. However, i just found success by literally encoding and exporting via the windows media, HDTV high 1080p quality, this file seemed in time and once more looked great so very strange though a little relieved i can get something out! But i still want to sort out this h.264 business its baffling!

Any one got any ideas? I've spent 6 hours fiddling and this is driving me mad!!! How can I make videos etc if the audio is all not in sync ahhhh!
