Hi friends,

This is my first time on this forum and as I am a Panasonic shooter with the formal HVX200 So I must not stay away here. With the HVX200 me and my DP has shot an entire feature film
The Last Inquisitors who we are shooting the last shots of wright now. Yo can find it on www.thelastinquisitors.com or Youtube.

Two brand new AF100 Cams has arrived to be used for new fiction film projects and I wanted to share my expressions and setup with you.
Here is the setup:

AF100 panasonic
Jumbo Mattebox
dual Folow focus
Rig
Back magic shuttle and SSD

As all has just arrived a fw day ago we still need to shoot some footage and at first I try to assemble the total setup.
Subject still to change are:

Cevlar 19 mm rods
Digi Optical 18/50 lens ( still to order soon )

As I mounted all the gear I found a few plus and downs, first of all the Mattebox arrived is great! its a bit huge but very solid material, the Panasonic cam is of course well known
and needs no comment. The rig material is very solid equip to and satisfy me dough I will take care of some more weight at the back for better balance.
The focus gear is very solid to but give me some trouble. there is no problem as long it is not mounted , but when you tighten the screws it get working to stiff, so I will need to modify that.
About the Black magic recorder I will have to keep you posted as we have not shot with it yet I know its uncompressed and eats a lot of gigs so I will need to compressed it anyways I guess
for postproduction but at least I will have the freedom to choose my compressor. I have been thinking of purchasing the Samurai in the future, however if the Black Magic workflow doesn't satisfy my
I can still use it for high purpose quality and still buy the samurai :-)

Nice to meet you guy's and stay tuned :-)
