AF100 does it again: Music Video with Zombies, Martial Arts, and VFX

No, it doesn't do 4:2:2. But we still got excellent tracking results. The ending shot was tracked and manipulated to remove background elements and fix the sign. The UZI flashes and most of the blood is all digital.

Was pretty happy with what this camera was able to put out! There's a few super slow-motion shots on there (5 in total I believe, for about 10 seconds of footage) shot on the FS700 - but the rest is all AF100. Sometimes with twixtor.

Check it out. Critical feedback welcome and requested, as always! I know there's a handful of parts that I hate/would change, but overall, pretty happy with final result!

Very nice mate! really liked the shots of the band - AF or FS? what lens for those? The claustrophobia of the interior shots/tight framing with all the zombies was good

Very nice work, there is plenty of life in the old dog yet, Yes what lenses and how did you light the interior barn scenes.

Thanks guys! I used the Nokton 25mm and The Olympus 12mm almost exclusively. The band shots were shot against a black backdrop with a 2x lowel light kits blasting about 3000 watts of light from no more than 2-3 feet away (just out of frame). I then set the camera to 1/2000 shutter and 48fps and had the band play the song at double time which they had practiced. We work on timing the hose spray blasts to the beat with the music, and then recorded each person a couple times through.

The interior barn light was almost all natural light, and we had a couple of (totally NOT color matched) lowel light kits brought in to help with dramatic lighting when needed. Actually this was one area I was *NOT* happy with, but it worked. Took some "fix it in post" grading, including masking out areas to CC different for the color temps, but I knew we could get away with it on a shoe-string budget since the look the video called for was pretty desaturated.

For color grading I used a few different tools - MB Mojo was a favorite, 3 way color correction, MB Look Suite for some shots.
