If anyone in the Jacksonville area wants to check out the AF100 (and the 3D AG-3DA1) there will be a Panasonic demo on Wed., Feb. 2, at 2pm at Digital Video Arts. All are welcome and it's free.
Thanks to Wes Carr of Panasonic for putting on a great demo. The AF100 is an incredible camera. I can see why they're flying off the shelves as fast as Panasonic can make them.
We tried the Lumix 14-140, which wasn't at all bad. The OIS worked great with some hand held shots. Also tried some Nikons and some type of PL mount cine lens I've never heard of. The red focus assist was a cool feature.
I offered to swap my HPX500 on the spot for the 100, but no luck.
Anyone with an AF100 interested in a gently used 500?
