AF100 battery charger

[Dan Sawyer]

any one know where I can get a back up battery charger without having to spend $300?

Bought one on eBay for under $6 shipped. It's a generic jobbie, like the ones I've been using for my 5DII batteries for the last couple of years. So far so good, the charger stays cool, so does the battery, and the Panasonic charger couldn't do any better at topping off the battery.

Does anyone know if chargers for the dvx work?

[Barry_Green]

They will not. Has to be made specifically for the AVCCAM type of batteries.

"Mine" is gone, but it was just like this (even cheaper) one here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Charger-Panason...s_Chargers&hash=item3a5f603313#ht_4606wt_1198

I'm a little leary of that one. Their info doesn't list CGA batteries and the picture only shows two contact pins where as the battery has 4. I really appreciate your help but I've only ordered one thing from Hong Kong and it turned in to a disaster

I am a bit concerned that the $6000 dollar investment I've made in the this camera system could be negated for want of a $25 charger that apparently cannot by purchased directly from Panasonic.

THANKS!!! I've checked their site about 3 times in the last couple of months. At first I couldn't find a listing and then when I did it was out of stock.
