Greetings all....
Yesterday I shot my first series of interviews with the AF100.. Previous to that I'd just been goofing around with it and shooting some candid stuff. Well before beginning we switched the setting to the uncompressed audio and went off to Gainesville... One thing that I noticed right off the bat, and the reason for this posting, is that there is a really signifigant sound lag from what I hear with my ears, and what is playing back through the headphone jack. We were feeding both a boom and a Lav and the quality of the recording is great, but the lag is really really annoying. More so for when I had to speak and then heard myself a half a second later... I know that I can push the phones down and or take them off or whatever, but this is really really annoying. I don't have this lag on my HMC150...
So I'm just wondering if this is a quality of the AF100, if there's a setting to correct it, or if it's cause its on the uncompressed setting vs. the compressed....
Overall, very happy with the functionality and the image, but the audio lag was a real bummer.
