AF100 at a rainy wedding

How resilient is the AF100 to light misty rain? Bride was determined to have her wedding outside on a Vermont mountain top with winds gusting to 45mph, turning umbrellas inside out and putting rain drops on my UV filter. I saw fine drops of water on the camera and wiped them off and the cam still works, but the FOB said he would pay for any damage. So far the cam is working well, but wonder if trouble will show up in a month or so. Anyone know how weatherproof the AF100 is?

I don't know how to test for it but I think you're OK from what you describe. I shot out in on and off thunderstorms for a pretty long day and the AF100 got pretty wet a couple of times. I did the same thing, wiping it off when I saw anything . It held up fine and I never had any trouble since. Hope that helps.

I don't... but make sure you give the camera a chance to dry out. I don't know how you store it, but back when I was shooting college football, we would open everything that could be opened on the cameras (old DVCPro tape and Betacam ones) and let it set on a table to air dry overnight. That generally worked.
