af100 and fisheyes?

like many of you i was waiting to make the hd move as soon as the right camera came out, after all of the hdslr craze i knew something was close and would not settle for anything with out xlr inputs and interchangeable lenses. i have been reading alot and am very excited about the af100 and its seems perfect to me.

i have learned tons reading on this site and its been very helpful, but i had a questions about how could you use a fish- eye on this camera.

considering the 2x crop factor, if you placed a regular fisheye with lets say 8mm then it would turn into a 16mm correct? wouldn't this remove most of the fisheye effect from the lenses? so how could you use a fisheye on this camera?

would you need to use a fisheye lens attachement such as a screw mount?

with the type of film work that i do, skateboard filming, the fisheye is extremely important.
so what is the best way to work around this. i would want some barrel distortion with minimal vignetting, as close to 180 degrees ad posible. an ideal setup would be something close to the hvx200 and century optics xtreme fisheye.

I've used my old Nikkor 16mm f2.8 fisheye on my AF100 a couple times, the 2x crop factor puts it a 90 degree field of view I assume. Similar to FOV of a 20mm lens on a 35mm still film camera or 5D size sensor. Yes, barrel distortion is greatly reduced due to the crop and if you center any horiz or vertical lines in the shot, its hard to tell its a fisheye. I dont know whats out there but the Panasonic 8mm m43 lens claims a 180 degree field of view on a M43 camera (AF100).

The Lumix 8mm M4/3 is great for shooting skateboarding. Minimal vignetting and pretty crisp. Affordable and great durability!
