AF100 and DNxHD.mov What it gives to my footage.

I'm all in on this now.

Does this difference hurt my footage in any way? When recording to DNxHD?

This summer I made a fishing DVD with clips looking like this

Hey igelkott film, just been checking out this post and it's been really helping me. Considering getting a new external recorder but its fascinating how much more can be pushed out with the internal codec still. Just wondering, what filters etc in premiere did you use to get the bottom image from the top!? I've just started trying to learn to colour correct etc in premiere and effects. Thanks

Hi, I used fast color correct :)

Awesome! It's really impressive what you can save still, makes me dread the amount of times ive settled for footage that could have been a lot better! When you apply fast colour correct, is their like a method to your process ie what do you start on? Or do you just tweak to taste?

Hi, i tweak to taste.
One thing i like with dnxhd is the rec709 witch people see as gamma shift but its just reveling the super whites and superblacks.

Thats gives me an overview over what I actually have.
