AF100=A Cam and HMC150=B Cam w/same scene files

Was going to sell my HMC150 to help pay for my new AF100, but can't bring my self to part with it. It's been too good of a cam to me, so I'll be selling off all my DSLR gear to pay for the AF...

anyway, to my question: I want to use the HMC as my B cam now- can I use the scene files from the AF Book/CD on the HMC and if so should I make any tweaks to get the best match? I will be firing them both up this weekend side by side to start experimenting- but thought I would ask if anyone else has run into this situation (matching 2 diff Pana models). It might narrow me in and save me some time.

Like for example- I would guess that the HMC might need higher detail coring than the AF to compensate for more noise

thanks

They're not likely going to match with the exact same settings, because the sensors are entirely different. But with a little tweaking you can likely get them very close.

I'm considering a similar scenario.
Does anyone know if it's possible to jam sync timecode between the two cameras?
After reading through the af100 it seems like it would work because they use a similar method, but can anyone confirm?

Yes you can sync timecode between them. But you can't continuously jam timecode; you can only sync them up in free run and then disconnect them and rely on their clocks to keep them in sync.

and in addition to the sensor difference, every time you change a lens on the AF that will throw off the match. Might have to creat a scene file for every lens.

I don't know if this is of any use to anyone, but I just started playing with the AF100 & HMC150 to see how they might cut together. This is really quick and I matched setting in the scene files. Shot at the same time. No correction.
Tried to get them as close as possible...again just a starting point. No science here. Natural light & my favorite model! ...lets call her "Stella"

HMC150 (stock lens...I didn't set-up the RedRock M2 yet so I can see a Nikon here too)

I'm thinking with a little tweaking, these might just cut together nicely? If I can dig out of this snow and talk a couple people into coming over, I'll shoot, tweak, cut & post...but there's even more snow on it's way!
those look pretty spot on- do you remember your scene file settings?
