Af100 45 2.8 Lumix Test lapse

Pretty shot- great spot. Maybe try a slower interval next time? (unless you're really going for the cloud racing by look) I usually use the slowest, then speed it up in post if needed.

How do you like the lens?

The Macro you can focus the cap of a pen with, pretty impressive. That was a 14 hour exposure in a minute so having the auto iris helped.
It's not a cheap lens but it is sharp.

Like ulisses said, I'd love to see it with a little grading![/QUOTE]

I am still learning and i made a couple furtive attempts. For me the regular and slow mo hold up well to my grading attempts. but the faster interval stuff gets real noisy real fast. ANY tips or recommendations would love to hear. I have magic bullet suite the newer version. Thanks !

Well, I'm far from a master colorist, but here's what I'd try, and I don't know what you do or don't know (or have attempted), so I'll keep it pretty basic-
The image is flat so it needs more contrast.

What do you edit in? It should have Color Correction. I haven't used MB for a long time but I believe it has a Curves setting (under post, maybe?) You want to apply a gentle "S-curve", meaning about 1/5 down from the top, click and slide up slightly (increasing highlights).
And about 1/5 of the way up from the bottom, click and pull down slightly (increasing shadows).

This will give you a more contrasty image, but you have to be careful that increasing the shadows doesn't give you noise, and that you don't blow out the highlights.
You can also play around with the 3-way color corrector, and saturation. These should both be in your NLE and MB.

It's just a start, but hope this helps, and have fun!
