AF Audio

Curious if people are still going to be using external recorders for narrative shooting or if they're going to use in-camera audio.

Is the audio on the AF any better than, say, the EX line?

I'm going to be keeping my external recorder, but only intending to use it for variable frame rate recording (like other Panasonic cams the AF100 doesn't record sound when recording off frame rate).

Hopefully the AF100's audio subsystem will be up to Panasonic's usual standards- the HVX200's are OK. You just have to make sure you don't feed them with too hot a mic.
