Just a heads up that I've gone through the rest of this thread and compiled all the new suggestions listed.
The wishlist will be updated in the next day to reflect all those.

A note on any future suggestions.

It would help greatly if you could make your suggestions BOLDED and in ALL CAPS.

You can keep your descriptions normal...but just give me a short BOLDED AND CAPS title so it sticks out.

Example:

PAL AND NTSC SWITCHABLE

I'd like to see the camera be switchable between Pal and Ntsc as this would help with the kind of work I do.. etc etc etc.

make sense?

Thanks.

The list will be updated up to this point in the thread by tomorrow.

Thank you for the info. After reviewing the links you provided looks like none of the 3 lenses really "outperforms" the others. In this case what it comes down to is the price. And unfortunately for Olympus their cost is much higher then the competitors (we are talking 300 bucks minimum).

The lens is also wider. 300 bucks is nothing at that point.

Definitely an internal stereo mic in addition to the xlr's. I'm sure there will be plenty of us recording second system sound that would love to have basic reference sound synced to the video. The hmc150 & hmc40 have this so as an avccam camera the af100 should be no different.

As an expansion of the "Dual Record Mode" suggestion, I would like the OPTION TO RECORD THE VIDEO WITH DIFFERENT SCENE SETTINGS TO THE TWO INDIVIDUAL CARDS.

Likely impossible, but it would be an interesting option.

I wouldn't sweat it too much about those fast zooms.
Has anybody taken a real good look at the 14-35mm F2 Olympus?
It goes from 3ft to 5ft to infinity on the focus scale. Pretty useless as a cinema lens unless you're at 14mm where DOF will cover this gross coverage of short throw.

Right now there's not many good solutions for the real honest to goodness fast wides. Let's hope Panasonic partners with Leica AG or Sigma to produce some usable wides for this camera and m43.

Love to have a t1.0 m4/3 af100 lens set- (or at least some fast wides). Highspeed lenses for the af-100 could be done pretty easily as they only have to resolve ~2 megapixels.

Uh, nope. The camera will have to be usable as a still DSLR, so the lenses will have to resolve a heck of a lot more.
