So are you saying that the Nikon zoom also had the light shift? A little?
I'm not really looking for an ENG lens for the "run and gun" shooting. I AM thinking cinema shooting. I know back in the day, zoom was considered amateur and if you want a transition to a closer shot, you push in. I'm all good with that. But there are some stylistic results that the zoom has with either a smooth, short mechanism transition or a hard hand pull and are used a LOT now-a-days in TV and Cinema. Not that I wanted to use them all the time, I just wanted to have the option and these lens won't give me the option and paying $8k without the lens is not an option. Especially for how little I'll use it.
Have a look at the new movie "Limitless". The effects where you are "ZOOMING" down the street. I don't know if they did that with a zoom or not but I think I can do that with a zoom. But then again... I can't, can I. Not with these lenses and if you're telling me that the light shift is still present in your Nikon... or are you.
My Nikon F Micro 4/3 mount is coming in a few days. I'll see for sure. 100% manual.
