Do you find the front element of the 14-24mm being unprotectable causes any problems? I guess it's no different than cine lenses not having front element protection. Coming from the stills world, I always put on some uv filter to protect the lens, but I guess one just has to be careful and to properly clean it. I too am looking at the dream team of 14-24 and 24-70, I have 80-200 covered by my minolta HS G f/2.8
