Any details on how the af100 processes its images? specifically what it does to help moire and whatnot, i know it doesn't really matter for your images as long as they look good but all the same, i like looking at diagrams and stuff.

Nothing technical has been released, other than to say that the imager has been optimized for video and that it includes a video-appropriate OLPF.

I just wanted to spell out what Barry said, "OLPF" = Optical Low Pass Filter.

This is a big point over the DSLRs, which are designed for resolutions beyond 2 MP. The Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF) helps to prevent moire from repeating patterns like brick work. Jan hinted that the active area of the image sensor was around 12 MP. The OLPF helps to smooth out (soften) the image so that the RGB elements see in the 1920x1080 resolution rather than the higher resolution.
