AF 100 Audio recording issues

I have had the AF 100 for about a month now and I can figure out for nothing the Audio recording set up. I transition to this camera from a HVX200 and I'm used to having several channels of audio when importing to Premier CS 5. To my surprise when I did my first interview with the camera I noticed that there was only a Stereo channel and all my audio was recorded to the left channel. I had an XLR Wireless receiver to channel one and left channel 2 to internal, like I use to do with the 200 just to have reference of audio from monitors. I can't figure out several things: A) how to balance the audio once is recorded and imported to CS5, B) is there a way to get my multiple channels? C) what will i need to do to get that even audio on "Stereo".

I know having an external for audio is better but the budget is extremely tight.

Any help will be greatly appreciated it.

The audio on the AF100 is set up identically as for the HVX.

In Premiere CS5 you can map your audio channels anyway you wish.

That's what I thought, however, when I plug to Channel 1 and set up channel 2 for internal on the HVX I will get 4 channels of audio on my timeline. With the AF If I do this I only get 1 Channel of audio, Stereo that is, and all my levels are on the left channel and I cant see to find how to make it at least true stereo, or even get my 4 channels of audio like with the HVX.
Any Idea if I'm setting some audio setting wrong on the camera or what it could be?

... I had an XLR Wireless receiver to channel one and left channel 2 to internal ...

I'm confused. Can you say exactly which settings you had on the camera please? "Left Channel 2 to internal" is confusing me.
Channel 2 is the Right channel.

Just to make sure:

CH1 SEL : should be INPUT 1
CH2 SEL : should be INT(R)

The XLR wireless receiver should go into INPUT1 with the level set to LINE

MIC POWER +48V should be turned off for both input1 and input2

Is this what you did?

Also, what was your PH AUDIO recording mode set to : AC3 or LPCM?

thanks
jeff
